A week long, nine to four, daily, summer camp program in which kids learn the basics about horses; everything from grooming to riding. Our summer camp starts at nine o'clock in the morning, they arrive and begin to groom the horses. They then tack them up, and get ready to ride in their morning lesson, a one hour session, in which they learn the basics of horseback riding. They then untack and bathe the horses and put them away. The riders then have a one hour lunch, in our lounge. After lunch the riders then have a one hour educational segment where they partake in an interactive lecture. Next they groom and tack the horses up again in preparation for their afternoon hour and half lesson. Followed by a final bathing and cleaning of the horse before heading home. All children wanting to attend camp must be able to walk, trot, and control a horse in a group situation. Call to inquire about how to get ready to attend camp.
